With Chelsea Flower Show just around the corner, Indian Accent is in full bloom thanks to a fabulous floral makeover. To complement the floral façade and in celebration of National Vegetarian Week, Chef Manish Mehrotra has created a special set menu that puts the power in the flower – available from 13th – 2nd June, the delicious three course vegetarian spread pairs authentic Indian flavours with delicate botanical touches.
Priced at £40 per person, start with Kashmiri morels with marigold, walnut powder and parmesan papad, followed by green pea kofta with sweet potato and dill flower oil. Finish on a sweet note with basmati rice kheer with rose petals murabba and coconut jaggery.
The perfect accompaniment to any meal, sip on a suitably sophisticated floral tipple – try the moksha, a mix of hibiscus infused vodka, blackberry and rose foam; or the transcendental medication, a sweet concoction of honey infused gin, mountain sage liqueur, thyme and lavender.
